Born in 1986 in central Ohio, John Violet knew from the beginning that he was going to be a human. Eyes, ears, assorted appendages, they were all there. But nobody told him what it was to BE human. He assumed they must have forgotten to give him the pamphlet as he left the hospital.

Since then he has, like many others, attempted to qualify and quantify the human experience within the scope of the eyes he is sure he possesses. Though having a fulfilling career in educational IT during the day, he finds the most pleasure in the fixing of broken things and the creation of brand new things.

John hopes to one day do a large lighting installation, design and program a scary video game, compose a space opera, break the witch's curse,  and make a paludarium.
